In the 10 years that Katie has worked at the hospital she has never lost the fight and spirit she brings with her to a shift every day. Katie advocates for service users when they might not feel able to speak up themselves and continues to be a joy to work with even on the tough days. After a really hard night shift, Briony came in to take over. She recognised straight away that I had a chaotic night. She offered to have a debrief with me, which really helped. I was able to tell her all my stresses and issues from the shift and she was able to empathise with me and validate my concerns, which meant I went home stress free.
Richmond came to work with us and said with certain service users he was not confident and this caused him anxiety. He over came these obstacles and now works with confidence and the service users have been rewarded by great care and support by him.

Brenda is an amazing woman. She greets everyone with a smile. Comes in early and works late to ensure patients needs are met. Patients are always her main concern. A Medical Director said to me recently, if we had 100 of her, there would never be any problems, she is just simply amazing, its a pity I can only nominate her for one CoC!
