She gives support to our service users and all staff when and however often it is needed she is the back bone of our unit.
One of the service users had not been able to see his parents for a few weeks which was difficult for the service user and the family. Gavin painted a picture of the service user and gave it to the family so that they could have something to remind them of him when they aren’t able to visit, family were blown away by his work and generosity
Tara’s effort in improving communication between departments within the hospital is valued. I want her to know I have recognised her growth and her hard work to help improve team working whilst acknowledging the difficulties she has faced with a reduced work force. Although new to this role she has worked at a fast pace whilst being conscientious.
Victor organised a wonderful event for Black History Month, sharing his Nigerian Culture with us. Alongside another colleague he treated us to traditional Nigerian cuisine, displayed facts, created activities and we listened and danced to some Afro Pop too. An informative, fun and delicious day! Thanks for sharing with us Victor

Denis went above and beyond his role, showing empathy in ensuring that a new patient received food that they liked. The patient was too unwell to make their own food choices so Denis kindly stayed late to phone the patient’s family, going through the 4wk patient menu with them to select food on behalf of the patient based on the patient’s likes.
After the announcement of the Closure of Cedar Vale, Caroline sprung into action to support all of the staff there who were facing redundancy and contacted nearby sites arranging visits and then driving staff there herself in the Cedar Vale Mini Bus. This was so invaluable to staff who do not drive and needed support in a difficult time.
On a particular morning I had an unexpected personal issue and was quite upset & not myself. My T/L Jane noticed, stopped what she was doing, listened to me & we had a chat.
