Jo Lunn took part in the employee appreciation volunteer programme and came to support at Outwood. Jo got really involved with residents. He took them out on activities, did some baking and the team appreciated this lovely gesture.
Nicole has had a tough week: All therapy staff was either off sick with covid or on leave. She stayed positive, like nothing happened and with a little help from support staff, she provided a maximum activities to our service users. Well done!
Diane made an amazing cake for the team at her own expense and in her own time. It tasted fantastic and brought a smile to many colleagues faces! It went down well with the team for sure. Really comforting – a huge thank you!
On the 10.03.2022 our ward was extremely busy and choatic. Cathy took it upon herself to support the team on the floor and manage service users, she helped to make drinks are redirect SU when there were incidents. Cathy supported the team amazingly
Jo works every second of each shift and although she may be doing a million things at once, she does so with a smile on her face. SUs frequently comment on the positive atmosphere she brings to the ward and activities and shes a team player X1000.
Pauline is the heart of reception, she supports staff and those around her. She has a kind heart and is always open to listen, support or advise if needed. She brightens the day with her warmth and passion, she also created a safe haven at Heathers.
Nico has grown in confidence whilst being at Ealing, Nico has also really grown in terms of his knowledge. Nico continues to take on more tasks, such as the training coordinator role and is currently doing the world class managers course.
Zoe has worked through some really difficult personal circumstances recently, yet her commitment to her role and dedication to the service users has not faltered. She pours her heart and soul in to her service users when others would simply crumble.
I am nominating Alex for his selflessness and hard work. He’s the best space organiser and it’s very nice of him to put so much effort into caring for the personal items of the service users. He always does beyond the minimum and is very hardworking.
Ella has grown as a care support worker and the past few months she has tried her very best to support all the residents to live the best life they can and has come up with a very good idea to help a resident with her anxiety around her laundry.
Nathan is always coming up with dad jokes whilst on shift, he sometimes will do a bit of dancing which makes patients smile and staff laugh. He would do anything to make people laugh, smile and have a better day 🙂
Helen stayed after her shift until the following morning with a resident until she was admitted into hospital. This was around a 20 hour shift and she wanted to ensure she was settled and safe before leaving her.
