Sharon is our smiling face on Reception. She supports the patients, helps out the support staff and is our freedom to speak up ambassador. She takes her role seriously and continues to create and maintain amazing documentation for all our meetings.
Claire is always ready to listen to her colleagues, comfort them and provide them with support. She is a fantastic mentor and gives guidance when its needed while also enabling her OT team to grow and develop their skills.
Riah has recently joined the OT team and has demonstrated her passion for providing individualised and meaningful care to her service users, encouraging them to be the best people they can be and to strive for their occupational goals.
Kelly is an extremely flexible staff member who is always helping out on the wards. Recently she has changed her day to day working pattern to support with taking a service user to visit his dying grandfather enabling him to say his final goodbye.
Shelagh is a very valued member of our team. Shelagh always has a friendly and happy attitude towards residents and staff at all times. Shelagh always comes in and if there is no cleaner on that day she does both roles throughout the day.
Jane has done outstanding work with a patient on the ward who has been very difficult to engage and support. Jane has built an outstanding rapport with them, supported the development of their care plan and worked with nurses to improve their experience.
James has been supporting a patient on a different ward. This lady has lost her english skills, was very afraid and only able to communicate in French. James is fluent in French and has been translating, supporting her and has gone above and beyond.
Danny has been extremely resilient by supporting a service user who has been having a challenging few months. He continues to provide the best support and care in the face of adversity, supporting patients through their ups and down with a smile.
Phil works his socks off and just gets on with it. Phil is comitted and often deals with challenging situations, keeping calm and positive. Whatever challenges are thrown his way he deals with them to the best of his ability.
Agi is definitely 1 of a kind but in a good way!!! Agi goes above and beyond often staying late to complete rotas and allocation sheets. I know Agi cares about the patients and staff and tries to accommodate everyone’s needs and requests.
Tabley House Nursing Home has been supporting 2 very poorly residents; who had complex physical health care needs which even challenged the experienced R/N’s. Cara excelled not only in her learning but her focus on the residents and her provision of 1:1 support to them
Carla created a “Winter Care Package” for the Hospital Manager and Head of Care as a thank you for being supportive and flexible to other members of the team and to recognise the work that they put into the service. This was such a thoughtful act!
