During demanding times on the ward Ellie assists the nursing team with daily takes, covering observations to prevent staff burn out. Despite her own work load Ellie insists on helping with these tasks even when it is not convenient. Appreciated!
Sophie has worked hard developing her skills. Recently, Sophie demonstrated real growth in her role by liaising with IST and other professionals and at times taking lead during a crisis. She as shown new confidence in facing challenges when they arise.
Tracey has been at Hollyhurst for 20 yrs. In all the years I’ve known her she has always been dedicated to her role and does so to the best of her ability. Tracey has endless knowledge of the service and always makes people feel part of the team.
I could nominate lots of people and probably will! But Pam works diligently on trying to keep us all on the straight and narrow when it comes to updating myHub and ensuring we use the system correctly, she also does it with a smile!

Matilda recently took a service user on holiday who was going through a challenging time.
A member of the public approached Matilda and her colleague to comment how lovely it was to see carers treat service users like they would if it was their own family.
Valentina never stops, she moves from one task to another and yet always has time to talk to residents, to give them reassurance or support. She’s able to de-escalate many conflicts, just by listening and old fashioned chat. She never fails!
Whilst we are still recruiting for an additional nurse Amy goes above and beyond to cover shifts and managing the rota to cater for all vacancies and personal life requirements. Amy works additional each week to ensure the smooth running of the service.
