Dr Thamburaja has developed a weekly training package for our nurses and to ensure that this is available to as many nurses as possible she is delivering this in her own time in the evenings. The feedback from the sessions has been very positive.
Regardless what’s thrown at Alison she gets back up and supports her team. Since January 2019 she has built up a fantastic hospital and team. So thank you Alison for building a great hospital and team. Stand tall and keep doing what you do so well.
Kelsey took time out of her day and made the effort to teach a service user how to ride a bike. Kelsey deserves to be recognised for the support and encouragement she provided. I’m sure the service user was also really grateful!
Jeff has always been a big support to me with family issues and has made adjustments for me within work. Jeff has always taken the time to talk with me and check in with me regularly to see how I am getting on. Jeff is the best manager I’ve had.
Emily’s a positive influence to everyone around her, whether that be her colleagues or service users. She effortlessly makes people feel like they can approach her about anything due to her calm demeanour. The perfect person on a busy day!
Adil has not been in care for long and went to another house today to help with a crisis were he had never been before. He is there for any body when needed and is very professional, caring and hard working. He is also passionate about his job.
Callan is a unique individual who can truly put himself in the place of his patients, enabling him to approach their difficulties with a wealth of compassion and empathy. He respects all individuals and strives to enable them to achieve their goals.
Vickie recently helped the team at Outwood and offered lots of advice to support one of our residents with their anxieties. Their Mum was so grateful that this work has been started, and the team are excited to use this advice to support our resident!
Angela is hardworking and always helping everyone in their different roles. Angela does not only work as a PDN but is seen in all the roles, she steps into the HCSW role whenever needs arise and housekeepers when she sees fit. She is super versatile!
Liam went above and beyond when one of our Service Users left something in town on her leave. He spent his entire 1.5 hour break retracing her steps, going shop to shop, trying to find the item. He embodies so many of our values!
There were high numbers of staff isolating and a couple of Covid-19 cases in the past month. Ashie worked along with her Deputy to cover a lot of shifts.

Phil is our walking tower of strength, no matter how hectic shifts are or how things don’t go with plan, he will find a way to make sure all deadlines are met. There is no job too hard on the shop floor for him. Stays calm and professional. Always.
