One of our S/U’s has not left the site on foot since 2018 when he moved in. Hardy has worked and built up a therapeutic relationship with him to the point where there was enough trust there for him to feel confident to walk to the shops with her.
Lorenzo has worked extremely hard to build a therapeutic relationship with a very complex individual. He has identified residents needs and worked alongside SSW to purchase a car for him to access the community more, to ensure better quality of life
Ang has worked endlessly to ensure she does the best for the residents. Ange has worked alongside an appointee and arranged for a car for this individual to access the community as he is reluctant to access community (Not accessed since 2018).
Christian always come to work full of life and makes an effort with everyone. He’s always making the residence and staff laugh. Christian is a performer and will often sing to service users where giving medication and doing other tasks. We love him.
Sean regularly works to support one of our more challenging residents. He works extremely hard under pressure to keep both himself, the service user and others safe. He has been injured on numerous occassions and always comes back positive! Well done
Shelley is always willing to go the extra mile to help. She will reorganise her busy schedule and workload to offer assistance (often at late notice) with reports and data on behalf of the DON.
And always does so willingly.
After a shift Olivia found a young girl on a bridge attempting to take her own life. Olivia supported this young girl to safety and until help arrived. Olivia is passionate about her job and goes above and beyond each day to support others.
When I was new to this role, Imogen has consistently provided me with support and reassurance through every tough shift, tricky incident and when it has all been a bit overwhelming! She cares so much for the service users and her colleagues!
Joanna is the first person to support the team, responding to alarms, supporting distressed patients ad hoc and supporting resus drills across the site. She always shows up ready to go and will throw herself into any situation. The whole team love her!
Katie partnered with me to help with a large task and then in the last quarter took on all of this task herself despite it growing further, she managed this extremely well with little support needed and completed this task on time and accurately.
Mark returned to work after the tragic loss of his wife. He is always willing to help and support staff as required and he always tries to look on the bright side and support others to see the positives of each situation.
We have received 12 new International Nurses over the past few months which has been extremely hard work from a HR/Coordination point of view. Tracey has had to arrange accommodation for all of the nurses which she has done mainly in her spare time.
