Amy has been a great mentor and always puts 110% into the work that she does. She has made time for me to learn and develop my skills, she has a heart of gold.
I am a new Deputy Manager and the service has gone through some difficulties at the moment. Chantelle ensured that she has given me all the support to be able to do my job. She consistently offers me support whilst allowing me to make decisions.
Jessica has worked hard to improve her knowledge & management of ILS scenarios. This recently paid off when a patient became unwell! Her attitude & motivation to provide the best care possible makes her a real asset to the team.
Andrew has put alot of hard work and dedication into gaining the trust of a patient who struggles to attend to his personal care. We are now able to support the individual with his personal care needs with minimal distress to him.
Since starting my role Becca has constantly supported me. Even when she is on a full day ward round, she still manages to find time to answer my queries. I was ready to leave on day one, but with her help I am now able to carry out the role.
Kerry thinks outside the box and is continuously coming up with fresh fun ideas for service users. She is always enthusiastic and is always available for colleagues or residents if they need an ear.
She is fun to be around and this reflects in her work.
Peter doesn’t just do his nursing duties he will also muck in with staff helping on the floor he is beloved by all the service users he enjoys having a laugh and a joke with everyone. He enjoys slapstick comedy routines with many of them and always there if needed.
Beverley gets our service users involved in keep fit classes motivating others with her bubbly personality and passion for fun. Bev also constantly takes service users out for drives in the car and day trips. Her care towards others is second to none.
Recently I faced a very difficult time in my life. Jordan made it possible for me to continue to work at a level I was comfortable with, supporting me throughout, even offering to take me to appointments so I wasn’t alone.
Christine is our archiving champion and recycling champion,
she even climbs into the recyling bins to ensure that they aren’t contaminated.
she ensures that all residents complete their activities as independently as possible.
Although we have not met in person due to COVID since she started working in the clinical directorate, I have found a good friend in Emma. She rings me every week to check in, socialise and support me as I’m a lone worker, which is not part of her role.
Kerri is always there for anyone who needs support, offering an ear and genuinely caring about others above herself. Kerri is a FTSU Ambassador, Mental Health First Aider and trained in TRiM to enable her to give the best support to our staff team 🙂
