Build Expertise

Cygnet Masterclasses

Cygnet Masterclasses are one-off live learning events held virtually. Classes cover diverse topics such as; Leadership, CAMHS, Co-production, Understanding Autism, and the Triangle of Care. Participating in our Masterclasses helps you enhance your career prospects and improves your skillset.

E-Learning for Healthcare

We host ELfH (e-Learning for Healthcare) – a program run by NHS England in collaboration with other professional organisations. Its primary objective is to provide e-learning courses to educate and train our health and social care workforce. Cygnet staff members can access ELfH’s e-learning programs through the ELfH Hub.

OpenAthens

We offer access to OpenAthens – an authentication system that enables our staff to access widely recognised bibliographic databases, journals, articles, and other healthcare e-learning resources, such as the BMJ Best Practice support tool.

Flexible Learning

Our Flexible Learning programme enables our staff teams to further develop and engage in specialist learning for their Service. We partner with providers such as the OU – the Open University, to create schemes of work and study that support our mandatory training and offer staff members the opportunity to gain further qualifications. Patients and their families can also join staff in study groups through our Recovery Colleges. When completing flexible learning modules, we often develop champions in a specific subject – someone who would like to gain specialist knowledge to support them in their work. Small groups of staff who also have an interest in, or need skills in a particular subject, can also sign up with their managers’ support, so they can all study together. We even set up WhatsApp groups for staff to collaborate when completing courses and workbooks, so that they can all support each other.

Speculative candidates or CVs sent to Cygnet by recruitment agencies/headhunters will be treated as a “free of charge” gesture. For further clarification, email recruitment@cygnethealth.co.uk
